Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 And then by those that instil Remembrance into the hearts. 5 excusing or warning, 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 So when the stars are made to lose their light, 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 And when the mountains are carried away as dust, 10 and the appointed time to bring the Messengers together arrives, (then shall the promised event come to pass). 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 and make others settle after them in their land? 17 Thus do We deal with the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.)! 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 The which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed, 21 for an appointed term? 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 24 Have We not made the earth a housing 25 for the living and the dead, 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and given you fresh water to drink? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 "Go to what you used to deny; 29 "Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 34 They will not be able to speak that day, 35 nor will they be allowed to proffer excuses. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 that Day of Distinction [between the true and the false, when they will be told]: "We have brought you together with those [sinners] of olden times; 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40
