Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Noah rejected the messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 I would not drive away the believers; 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 122
