We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
