So I swear by whatsoever you see, 38 And what you do not see 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 it is not the word of a poet -- how little you believe! -- 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer -- how little you reflect! 42 This is the Revelation sent down from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We assuredly had taken him by the right hand 45 then, We would surely have cut from him the aorta (vein) 46 and not one of you could have defended him. 47 Surely it is a Reminder to the godfearing; 48 And verily We! We know that some among you are beliers thereof. 49 And indeed it (this Quran) will be an anguish for the disbelievers (on the Day of Resurrection). 50 And indeed it is a certain Truth. 51 (Muhammad), glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 52
