He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ (The Prophet) frowned and turned away, 1 Because there came to him the blind man (i.e. 'Abdullah bin Umm-Maktum, who came to the Prophet (Peace be upon him) while he was preaching to one or some of the Quraish chiefs). 2 But what could tell thee but that perchance he might grow (in spiritual understanding)?- 3 Or become reminded so that the reminder should profit him? 4 As for him who considers himself free from need (of you), 5 To him you give attention. 6 although thou art not accountable for his failure to attain to purity; 7 but as for him who came unto thee full of eagerness 8 and fearfully, 9 Of him wast thou unmindful. 10 NAY, VERILY, these [messages] are but a reminder: 11 So whoso wills may give heed to it. 12 Inscribed in Writs honoured, 13 Exalted, purified, 14 (Written) by the hands of scribes- 15 Honourable and Virtuous. 16 May man be slain how ungrateful he is! 17 Of what thing did He create him? 18 From Nutfah (male and female semen drops) He created him, and then set him in due proportion; 19 and then makes it easy for him to go through life; 20 Then causeth him to die, and burieth him; 21 and then, if it be His will, He shall raise him again to life, 22 Yet man declines to do His bidding. 23 So man must look at his food. 24 For that We pour forth water in abundance, 25 and split the earth, splitting, 26 We make the grain grow out of it, 27 grapes, vegetables, 28 and olive trees and date palms 29 and dense-tree'd gardens, 30 And fruits and grasses: 31 for you and for your herds to delight in. 32 But, when the Blast comes, 33 on that Day a man shall flee from his own brother, 34 And from his mother and father, 35 And his wife and his sons; 36 Everyone on that Day will have affairs to keep him occupied. 37 Some faces that Day, will be bright (true believers of Islamic Monotheism). 38 laughing, and rejoicing, 39 And many will be dust-begrimed, 40 Darkness shall cover them. 41 They will be the unbelievers, transgressors. 42
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: He Frowned ('Abasa). Sent down in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)

Notes and Instructions
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color. Pages diversely generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice. The Quran is the conclusive Final Testament of the One and Only God for all people of all colors and shapes.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
