And says man, “When I am dead, will I soon be brought forth alive?” 66 Does not man remember that We created him before, when he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We will gather them and the satans, and We shall parade them hobbling on their knees in Gehenna: 68 from every party We will pluck out whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the Most Merciful. 69 then We shall know very well those most deserving to burn there. 70 There is not one of you who shall not go down to it: such is a thing decreed, determined by your Lord. 71 Then We shall save those who use to fear Allah and were dutiful to Him. And We shall leave the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers, etc.) therein (humbled) to their knees (in Hell). 72 And when Our clear verses are recited to them, the disbelievers say to the Muslims, “Which group has a better home, and a better alliance?” 73 How many generations that had far more wealth and ostentation have We laid low before them! 74 Say, "The Gracious One grants respite for a time to those who are in error until, when they are confronted with what they are promised, either in punishment [in the world] or in [the approach of] the Hour, they will realize who is worse in respect of position and who is weaker in resources." 75 God further enlightens those who seek guidance. To those who do charitable deeds which produce continuing benefits, your Lord will give a better reward and a better place in Paradise. 76 And hast thou ever considered [the kind of man] who is bent on denying the truth of Our messages and says, "I will surely be given wealth and children"? 77 Has he peeped into the Unknown, or obtained a promise from Ar-Rahman? 78 Never so. We shall certainly write down what he says, and prolong the extent of his punishment. 79 All that he claims will revert to Us, and he will come before Us all alone. 80 For [such as] these have taken to worshipping deities other than God, hoping that they would be a [source of] strength for them. 81 Never. They will deny their devotion and become their adversaries. 82
