And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
