۞ Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars,- 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 If he is among the near 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 Then praise your Lord, the most supreme. 96
