Al-A'alaa

The All High (Al-A'alaa)

19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
