Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 the stars are dispersed, 2 when the seas swarm over, 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 Who created thee, then moulded thee, then proportioned thee? 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 But verily over you (are appointed angels) to protect you,- 10 Noble and recording; 11 who know of all that you do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 But the wicked, indeed they shall be in the Fiery Furnace, 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 And what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 17 Again, what could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
