۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 they have enraged us, 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Said Moosa, “Never! Indeed my Lord is with me, He will now show me the way.” 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 But We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
