Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 and gives so little [of himself for the good of his soul,] and so grudgingly? 34 Is with him the knowledge of the unseen so that he sees? 35 Has not he been informed of the contents of the Book of Moses 36 and Abraham, who paid his debt in full? 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 nor can man achieve anything without hard labor. 39 That (the fruit of) his striving will soon come in sight: 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 and that it is He alone who deals death and grants life; 44 and that He Himself created the two kinds, male and female, 45 of a sperm-drop, when it was cast forth, 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 And that He only is the Lord of the star Sirius? 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 And that Thamud! He left not. 51 and the people of Noah before -- certainly they did exceeding evil, and were insolent 52 And the overthrown cities did He overthrow, 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 Then which of the Graces of your Lord (O man!) will you doubt. 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The Imminent is imminent; 57 apart from God none can disclose it. 58 Are you astonished at this news, 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 Prostrate yourselves before God, and worship Him alone! ۩ 62
