Or do they, in whose hearts there is a sickness, believe that Allah will not bring their failings to light? 29 And if We please We would have made you know them so that you would certainly have recognized them by their marks and most certainly you can recognize them by the intent of (their) speech; and Allah knows your deeds. 30 And verily We shall try you till We know those of you who strive hard (for the cause of Allah) and the steadfast, and till We test your record. 31 Verily those who have disbelieved and have hindered others from the way of Allah and have opposed the apostle after the guidance had become manifest unto them, shall not hurt Allah at all, and anon He shall render their works of non effect. 32 O you who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) and render not vain your deeds. 33 ۞ surely those who reject the truth and bar others from the path of God, then die as deniers of the truth, will not be granted forgiveness by God. 34 Be not weary and faint-hearted, crying for peace, when ye should be uppermost: for Allah is with you, and will never put you in loss for your (good) deeds. 35 The life of this world is only a game, a pastime, but if you believe and are mindful of God, He will recompense you and will not ask you for your wealth. 36 If He required it of you and importuned you, ye would be niggardly, and He will bring to light your secret malevolence. 37 Behold! you are those who are called upon to spend in Allah's way, but among you are those who are niggardly, and whoever is niggardly is niggardly against his own soul; and Allah is Self-sufficient and you have need (of Him), and if you turn back He will bring in your place another people, then they will not be like you. 38
