Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 and when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are flowed out, 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 every human being will [at last] comprehend, what he has sent ahead and what he has held back [in this world]. 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 noble scribes, 11 Who know what you do. 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 whereas, behold, the wicked will indeed be in a blazing fire 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again, what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 18 It is the day when no soul will have power to do the least for a soul, and God's alone will be done. 19
