Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 The day We shall usher the righteous before Ar-Rahman like envoys into the presence of a king, 85 And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,- 86 who have no power of intercession, except those who have taken a covenant with the Merciful. 87 They say, "The Gracious One has begotten a son." 88 This is certainly a monstrous lie! 89 Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 That they ascribe a son to the Beneficent Allah. 91 And it behoveth not the Compassionate that he should take a son. 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 He has counted them and calculated their number. 94 Everyone on the Day of Judgment will individually come into the presence of God. 95 Surely those who believe and do deeds of righteousness -- unto them the All-merciful shall assign love. 96 We have made it easy in your own tongue in order that you proclaim the glad tidings to the cautious and give warning to a stubborn nation. 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
