O Prophet! say to your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers that they let down upon them their over-garments; this will be more proper, that they may be known, and thus they will not be given trouble; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites and those who have tainted hearts and the scandal mongers of Madinah do not desist, We shall surely give you authority over them and their days in that city will be numbered. 60 They shall be cursed from all around and they shall be ruthlessly killed wherever they are seized. 61 (Such has been) the course of Allah with respect to those who have gone before; and you shall not find any change in the course of Allah. 62 PEOPLE will ask thee about the Last Hour. Say: "Knowledge thereof rests with God alone; yet for all thou knowest, the Last Hour may well be near!" 63 Allah has cursed the unbelievers and prepared for them a Blaze. 64 therein they shall abide for ever. They shall find none to protect or help them. 65 On that Day when their faces are turned about in the Fire, they shall say: 'Would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger' 66 They will say: "O our Lord, we obeyed our leaders and the elders, but they only led us astray. 67 Our Lord! give them double torment and curse them with a mighty curse!" 68
