We built the heaven with might, and We widely extended it. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs, that haply ye may remember. 49 Therefor flee unto Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from him. 50 Do not choose other gods besides Him. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you". 51 Likewise, there came not an apostle unto those before them but they said: a magician or a madman! 52 Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people. 53 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad), for thou art in no wise blameworthy, 54 but keep on exhorting them, for exhortation benefits the believers. 55 And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone). 56 I do not desire provision from them, nor do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 it is God who is the great Sustainer, the Mighty One, the Invincible. 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 woe, then, to those who are bent on denying the truth, when the Day arrives which they have been promised. 60
