Al-Furqaan 6 of 6
Blessed be He who has set the constellations in the heaven, and set amongst them a sun, and an illuminating moon. 61 And it is He Who created the alternation of the night and day for one who wishes to remember or intends to give thanks. 62 The worshipers of the Merciful are those who walk humbly on the earth, and when the ignorant address them say: 'Peace' 63 who pass the night prostrating and standing to their Lord. 64 Who say: 'Our Lord, turn from us the punishment of Gehenna, for its punishment is the most terrible; 65 Verily ill it is as an abode and as a station. 66 who when they spend are neither wasteful nor miserly, between that is a just stand, 67 Who do not invoke any god apart from God, who do not take a life which God has forbidden except for a cause that is just, and do not fornicate -- and any one who does so will be punished for the crime, 68 Whose punishment will be doubled on the Day of Judgement, and he will live for ever in disgrace, 69 Except those who repent and come to believe and do the right, for whom God will turn evil into goodness, for God is forgiving and kind. 70 Whosoever repents and does the right, will have turned back to God by way of repentance; 71 Those who witness no falsehood, and, if they pass by futility, they pass by it with honourable (avoidance); 72 And those who, when they are reminded of the revelations of their Lord, fall not deaf and blind thereat. 73 And those who say: our Lord bestow on us coolness of eyes from our wives and our offspring, and make us unto the God-fearing a pattern. 74 Such are the people who will be rewarded with high palaces for their fortitude,, wherein they will be welcomed with due respect, honour and salutations 75 They will live therein forever, the best abode and place of rest. 76 Say: My Lord would not care for you were it not for your prayer; but you have indeed rejected (the truth), so that which shall cleave shall come. 77

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
