The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun is wrapped up [in darkness] 1 when the stars shall scatter away, 2 and when the mountains are moved, 3 when ten-month pregnant camels are left untended, 4 And when the wild beasts shall be gathered together; 5 When the oceans boil over with a swell; 6 when the souls are divided into different classes, 7 And the little girl buried alive is asked 8 For what sin she was slain. 9 when the scrolls are unrolled, 10 And when the heaven is torn away. 11 and when Hell is set ablaze, 12 And when Paradise shall be brought near, 13 (Then) every soul will know what it had prepared (for itself). 14 Rather, I swear by the returning 15 Those that run [their courses] and disappear - 16 And by the night when it departeth, 17 And by the morning when it shineth forth, 18 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger 19 Owner of power, and high rank with (Allah) the Lord of the Throne, 20 One (to be) obeyed, and faithful in trust. 21 Nor is your companion distracted. 22 And of a truth he saw himself on the clear horizon. 23 nor does he grudge (conveying this knowledge about) the Unseen; 24 The Quran is not the word of condemned satan. 25 Where then are you going? 26 This is naught but an admonition unto the worlds 27 Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight. 28 However, you will not be able to choose anything unless God, Lord of the Universe wills it to be so. 29
God the Almighty always says the truth.
