Believers, fight the unbelievers near you for the cause of God so that they realize your strength and know that God is with the pious ones. 123 When a Surah is revealed some of them remark: "Whose faith among you has it increased?" It does increase the faith of those who believe, and they rejoice. 124 And as for those in whose hearts is a disease, unto them it hath increased pollution to their pollution, and they die while they are infidels. 125 Do they not observe that they are tested once or twice every year? Yet they do not repent, nor do they heed advice! 126 And whenever a surah is revealed, they glance at each other as though saying: "Is anyone watching?" Then they slip away. Allah has turned away their hearts for they are a people who are bereft of understanding. 127 There has certainly come to you a Messenger from among yourselves. Grievous to him is what you suffer; [he is] concerned over you and to the believers is kind and merciful. 128 Now, if they turn away (O Muhammad) say: Allah sufficeth me. There is no Allah save Him. In Him have I put my trust, and He is Lord of the Tremendous Throne. 129
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: Repentance (At-Tawba). Sent down in Medina after The Feast (Al-Maa 'edah) before Triumph (Al-Nassr)
