Therefore continue to give warning, for by the grace of your Lord, you are not a soothsayer or a madman. 29 Or do they say: "(Muhammad SAW is) a poet! We await for him some calamity by time! 30 Say, "Wait, for indeed I am, with you, among the waiters." 31 Is it that their faculties of understanding urge them to this, or are they but a people transgressing beyond bounds? 32 What! They say, “He has invented the Qur'an”? Rather they do not have faith. 33 Let them then produce a recital like unto it,- If (it be) they speak the truth! 34 Or, were they created out of nothing? Or, were they their own creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and earth? Nay, but they have not sure faith. 36 Or are with them the treasures of your Lord? Or are they the tyrants with the authority to do as they like? 37 Or have they the means by which they listen? Then let their listener bring a clear authority. 38 Or has He only daughters and ye have sons? 39 Or do you ask them for a reward, so that they are over-burdened by debt? 40 Or is the Unseen in their keeping, and so they are writing it down? 41 Or are they planning a conspiracy? So the conspiracy will befall only upon the disbelievers. 42 Or have they a god other than God? Exalted be God over what they ascribe as partners [to Him]! 43 And if they were to see a fragment of the heaven falling, they would say: A heap of clouds. 44 Then let them be (O Muhammad), till they meet their day, in which they will be thunder-stricken, 45 A day on which their scheming will not benefit them at all, nor will they be helped. 46 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a punishment before that, but most of them do not know. 47 And wait thou patiently the judgment of thy Lord; verily thou art before Our eyes; and hallow the praise of thy Lord when thou uprisest. 48 And in the night time, also glorify His Praises, and at the setting of the stars. 49
