The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the racers, panting, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
