Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 And therein raising dust. 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
