The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 He who fears will mind, 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
