Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Ya, Seen. 1 By the Wise Qur'an, 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 on a Straight Way, 4 This is a revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people whose ancestors were not warned before wherefore they are heedless. 6 The Phrase has become obligatory upon most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 We have bound their necks with fetters up to their chin, so that their heads are raised and cannot be lowered. 8 And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 Thou canst [truly] warn only him who is willing to take the reminder to heart, and who stands in awe of the Most Gracious although He is beyond the reach of human perception: unto such, then, give the glad tiding of [God's] forgiveness and of a most excellent reward! 11 Surely, it is We who revive the dead and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; We have counted everything in a Clear Book. 12
