The Human (Al-Insan)
31 verses, revealed in Medina after The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman) before Divorce (Al-Talaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Has there not been over man a period of time, when he was nothing to be mentioned? 1 Indeed We have created man from mixed semen; in order to test him – We therefore made him hearing, knowing. 2 Surely We have shown him the way: he may be thankful or unthankful. 3 We have prepared for unbelievers chains and collars and a blazing fire. 4 The virtuous shall drink from a cup tempered with camphor water. 5 a fountain at which the worshipers of Allah drink and make it gush forth abundantly; 6 They keep their vows and fear a day the woe of which will spread far and wide; 7 And out of His love, they give food to the needy, the orphan and the prisoner. 8 (Saying): "We feed you for the sake of God, desiring neither recompense nor thanks. 9 Indeed, We fear from our Lord a Day austere and distressful." 10 So Allah saved them from the evil of that day, and gave them freshness and joy. 11 And gave them Paradise and silk clothes, as a reward for their patience. 12 There they will recline on elevated couches and will be subjected neither to the burning heat of the sun nor to bitter cold. 13 And its shade will cover them, and its fruit clusters brought down low for them. 14 Goblets of silver are brought round for them, and beakers (as) of glass 15 Godblets of silver, they shall have filled them to exact measure. 16 There will they drink a cup flavoured with ginger 17 A fountain there, called Salsabil. 18 ۞ They will be served by immortal youths who look like scattered pearls. 19 And when thou lookest, it is there thou wilt see a Bliss and a Realm Magnificent. 20 Upon them shall be green garments of silk and brocade; they are adorned with bracelets of silver, and their Lord shall give them to drink a pure draught. 21 Surely this is a reward for you, and your striving shall be recompensed. 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
