And those who disbelieve say: when we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we, for sooth, be brought forth? 67 We and our fathers were promised this before; these are but old stories." 68 Say, "Travel through the land and see how terrible was the end of the criminal ones". 69 And grieve you not for them, nor be straitened (in distress) because of what they plot. 70 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if what you say be true?" 71 Say thou: belike close behind you may be some of that which ye would hasten on. 72 Indeed your Lord is Most Munificent upon mankind, but most men do not give thanks. 73 And verily, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they reveal. 74 there is nothing hidden in heaven and on earth, but is recorded in a clear Book. 75 Verily, this Quran narrates to the Children of Israel most of that about which they differ. 76 And truly, it (this Quran) is a guide and a mercy to the believers. 77 Surely thy Lord will decide between them by His Judgment; He is the All-mighty, the All-knowing. 78 Trust in God for you follow the manifest truth. 79 Thou shalt not make the dead to hear, neither shalt thou make the deaf to hear the call when they turn about, retreating. 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none to hear, save those who believe Our revelations and who have surrendered. 81 ۞ When the word about them comes true We shall make a creature appear to them on earth who will tell them that people had no faith in Our revelations. 82
