Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I am purely a Herald of Warning – and there is no God except Allah, the One, the All Dominant.” 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say, "It is great news 67 From which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the Exalted Assembly when they argued [against the creation of man]: 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: “Verily I am creating a human being from clay. 71 after I have shaped him and breathed of My spirit (I created) into him, fall down prostrate before him' 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 except iblis (satan, the father of the jinn), he became too proud, for he was one of the unbelievers. 74 Allah said: O Iblis! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which I have created with both my hands? Becomest thou stiff-necked, or art thou of the exalted ones? 75 He said: "I am better than he. You created me from fire, and him from clay." 76 Allah said: get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art driven away. 77 And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense." 78 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 79 Answered He: "Verily, so [be it:] thou shalt be among those who are granted respite 80 Until the Day of the time appointed. 81 He said: "By Your authority, I will lead them astray, 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 Allah said: the truth is, and it is the truth that I speak 84 "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." 85 Say, "I do not ask you for any recompense for this, nor am I a man of false pretentions: 86 This is only a warning for mankind. 87 You will come to know its truth in time." 88
