Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have indeed set constellations in the heavens and have beautified them for the beholders, 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 But he who steals a hearing, so there follows him a visible flame. 18 We have spread out the earth, fixed mountains thereupon and caused everything to grow to its proper weight 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 And most surely We bring to life and cause to die and We are the heirs. 23 And verily We know the eager among you and verily We know the laggards. 24 Lo! thy Lord will gather them together. Lo! He is Wise, Aware. 25
