The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those who range themselves in ranks, 1 and those who drive away [the wicked] with reproof 2 And those who recite the message, 3 Most surely your Allah is One: 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – and the Lord of the sun’s rising points. 5 We have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars,- 6 and to preserve against every rebel Satan; 7 These satans cannot listen to what transpires in the High Council for they are pelted away from every side 8 And kept far away. There is perpetual punishment for them, 9 Some of them who stealthily steal words from the heavens are pursued by a glistening flame. 10 Just ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay! 11 Nay, you (O Muhammad SAW) wondered (at their insolence) while they mock (at you and at the Quran). 12 And heed not when they are reminded, 13 and if they see any Sign, they laugh it away 14 and they say, 'This is nothing but manifest sorcery. 15 When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised (again)? 16 along with our forefathers?" 17 Say (O Muhammad): Ye, in truth; and ye will be brought low. 18 There is but one Shout, and lo! they behold, 19 They will say, "Woe to us!" (They will be told), "This is the day of receiving recompense". 20 “Yes, this is the Day of Final Decision that you used to deny as a lie.” 21
