We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
