Al-Saaffaat 5 of 5
And, verily, Yunus (Jonah) was one of the Messengers. 139 when he ran away to the laden ship 140 and cast lots, and he was among the losers (of the lots that were cast). 141 So the fish swallowed him while he did that for which he blamed himself 142 And had he not been of those who hallow Him, 143 he would certainly have remained in its belly till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ but We cast him upon the wilderness, and he was sick, 145 and We caused a pumpkin tree to grow over him. 146 And We sent him towards a hundred thousand people, in fact more. 147 And they believed, whrefore We let them enjoy life for a season. 148 Now ask them if their Lord has daughters, and they sons? 149 Did We create the angels females, to which they were witnesses? 150 It is only because of their false invention that they say, 151 'Allah has begotten' They are truly liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters over sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How do you judge? 154 What, and will you not remember? 155 Or have you received some clear authority? 156 Then bring your scripture, if what you say is true. 157 And they assert a relationship between Him and the jinn; and certainly the jinn do know that they shall surely be brought up; 158 Glorified be Allah from that which they attribute (unto Him), 159 all of them except the chosen servants of Allah. 160 neither you nor what you worship 161 can lure away from God any 162 Except those who are predestined to burn in Hell! 163 And the angels say, “Each one of us has an appointed known position.” 164 we are those who stand ranged in ranks. 165 and we glorify God". 166 And they surely were wont to say: 167 Had we a reminder from those of yore, 168 We would have been the chosen servants of Allah." 169 But they disbelieved in it; soon they shall know! 170 We decreed that Our Messenger servants 171 That they would be helped, 172 And [that] indeed, Our soldiers will be those who overcome. 173 So turn thou from them for a while, 174 And watch, for they will (soon) see. 175 Our torment seek they to hasten on! 176 When it lights in their courtyard, how evil will be the morning of them that are warned! 177 So turn thou away from them for a little while, 178 And watch, for they will soon see. 179 Glory be to your Lord: the Lord of Glory is far above what they attribute to Him. 180 And peace be upon all His message-bearers! 181 And all praise unto Allah the Lord of the worlds. 182

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
