Al-Isra 10 of 12

They question you about the Spirit. Say, "The Spirit is at my Lord's command, and you have been granted but little knowledge." 85 And if We so willed, We could indeed take away whatever We have revealed unto thee, and in that [state of need] thou wouldst find none to plead in thy behalf before Us. 86 [Thou art spared] only by thy Sustainer's grace: behold, His favour towards thee is great indeed! 87 Say: 'If mankind and jinn combined together to produce the like of this Koran, they would never be able to produce one like it, not even if they were to help one another' 88 In this Quran, We have set out all kinds of examples for people, yet most of them persist in denying the truth. 89 They declare, "We will never believe in you until you cause a spring to flow for us from the earth; 90 or you (show) us that you have your own garden of palm trees and vines with flowing streams therein, 91 Or you make the heaven fall upon us in fragments as you have claimed or you bring Allah and the angels before [us] 92 or you have a house made of gold; or you ascend to heaven; and we will not believe in your ascension until you send down to us a Book that we can read." Tell them, "Holy is my Lord. I am but a human being sent as a messenger." 93
