We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 And We have spread out the earth, how Excellent Spreader (thereof) are We! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs, that haply ye may remember. 49 Therefore flee unto God! I am a clear warner from Him to you. 50 Do not set up another god, along with God. I come from Him to warn you plainly. 51 [But] thus it is: never yet came any apostle to those who lived before their time but they said, "A spellbinder, ["sorcerer" is he,] or a madman!" 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed. 54 yet go on reminding [all who would listen]: for, verily, such a reminder will profit the believers. 55 And I created the jinns and men, only for them to worship Me. 56 No Sustenance do I require of them, nor do I require that they should feed Me. 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me. 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
