Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

Indeed We sent forth Noah to his people and he said: 'O my people! Serve Allah, you have no other god than Him Indeed I fear for you the chastisement of an awesome Day.' 59 The leaders of his people said: "Ah! we see thee evidently wandering (in mind)." 60 'I am not in error, my nation' he replied. 'I am a Messenger from the Lord of the Worlds 61 “Conveying to you the messages of my Lord and wishing good for you, and I know from Allah what you do not know.” 62 "Do ye wonder that there hath come to you a message from your Lord, through a man of your own people, to warn you,- so that ye may fear Allah and haply receive His Mercy?" 63 (But) they belied him, so We saved him and those who were with him in the Ark, and We drowned those who belied Our verses. Surely, they were a blind nation. 64
