۞ Allah says: 'Do not take to yourself two gods. He is only One God; so have awe of Me' 51 And whatever is in the heavens and the earth is His, and to Him should obedience be (rendered) constantly; will you then guard against other than (the punishment of) Allah? 52 Whatsoever the blessings you enjoy are surely from God, and when in trouble you turn to Him in supplication. 53 When He removes your affliction then some of you set up associates to their Lord 54 So that they be ungrateful for what We have given them; then enjoy yourselves; for soon will you know 55 They even appoint a share of what We have provided for them [to false gods] they know nothing of. You shall surely be questioned about the lies you have been fabricating. 56 And they attribute to Allah daughters - exalted is He - and for them is what they desire. 57 When good news of the birth of a female is given to any of them, his face grows dark and inwardly he chokes. 58 He hideth himself from the folk because of the evil of that whereof he hath had tidings, (asking himself): Shall he keep it in contempt, or bury it beneath the dust. Verily evil is their judgment. 59 Those who believe not in the world to come, theirs is the evil likeness; God's is the loftiest likeness; He is the All-mighty, the All-wise. 60
