With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 And We have spread out the earth, how Excellent Spreader (thereof) are We! 48 And of everything We have created pairs; perhaps you will take heed. 49 Therefore hasten to God; truly, I am sent by Him to give you clear warning. 50 Do not set up another god, along with God. I come from Him to warn you plainly. 51 Even so not a Messenger came to those before them but they said, 'A sorcerer, or a man possessed!' 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 (Muhammad), leave them alone and you will not be blamed. 54 And warn, for warning profiteth believers. 55 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. 56 I desire of them no provision, neither do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 The evildoers shall have for their portion, a portion like their companions (who were destroyed before them). Therefore, they should not ask Us to hasten! 59 Alas the woe for those who refuse to believe in the Day which has been promised them. 60
