Nay, verily: By the Moon, 32 And the night when it withdraweth 33 And by the dawn when it brightens, 34 That (Hell) is surely one of the greater (signs), 35 as a warner to mortals. 36 to whoever among you desires to go forward, or lag behind. 37 Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds. 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 Sitting in the gardens, asking 40 concerning the sinners, 41 “What drove you to Hell?” 42 They will answer: "We did not fulfil our devotional obligations, 43 And we used not to feed the poor; 44 We indulged and persisted in useless disputes, 45 and we cried lies to the Day of Doom, 46 until the Inevitable End [death] overtook us." 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 If such will be the Day of Judgment, what is the matter with them? Why do they run away from guidance, 49 As they were frightened asses 50 running away from a lion? 51 Nay, every man of them desires to be -- given -- scrolls unrolled. 52 No indeed; but they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 but this is truly a reminder. 54 and whoever wills may take it to heart. 55 And what advice will they heed, except if Allah wills? Only He deserves to be feared, and His only is the greatness of forgiving. 56
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
