The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 Who determines and directs, 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
