The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its (final) earthquake. 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 On that Day it will relate all her news, 4 Because your Lord has inspired it. 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 Whosoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
