Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
A. L. M. 1 These are verses of the Wise Book. 2 As guidance and mercy for the doers of good 3 for those who attend to their prayers and pay the zakat and who have firm faith in the Hereafter: 4 Such are on guidance from their Lord, and such are the successful. 5 (In an attempt to show that God's revelations are only ancient legends) some people pay for meaningless tales to draw others attention away from the Quran without knowledge and treat as a matter of fun. They will suffer a humiliating torment. 6 When Our revelations are recited to them, they turn back on their heels out of pride as if they did not hear them or their ears had been sealed off. Warn them of the painful torment. 7 The righteously striving believers will enter Paradise 8 To dwell therein. The promise of Allah is true: and He is Exalted in Power, Wise. 9 He created the heavens without pillars as you see them, and put mountains upon the earth lest it might convulse with you, and He spread in it animals of every kind; and We sent down water from the cloud, then caused to grow therein (vegetation) of every noble kind. 10 this is God's creation. Show me then what those besides Him have created! The wrongdoers are in manifest error. 11
