The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 And what do you know what the Calamity is? 3 The day that men shall be like scattered moths, 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 Those whose good deeds will weigh heavier (on the scale) 6 shall find himself in a happy state of life; 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
