Remember also Our servant Job; when he called to his Lord, 'Behold, Satan has visited me with weariness and chastisement.' 41 [and thereupon was told:] "Strike [the ground] with thy foot: here is cool water to wash with and to drink!" 42 We restored his family to him with others similar to them, as a blessing from Us and a reminder for men of wisdom. -- 43 [We said], "And take in your hand a bunch [of grass] and strike with it and do not break your oath." Indeed, We found him patient, an excellent servant. Indeed, he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah]. 44 And remember Our bondmen Ibrahim, and Ishaq, and Yaqub – the men of power and knowledge. 45 We gave them this pure distinction because of their continual remembrance of the Day of Judgment. 46 And indeed they are, to Us, among the chosen and outstanding. 47 And remember Ishmael, Elisha and Dhul-Kifl, and all are among the outstanding. 48 This is a reminder. And indeed, for the righteous is a good place of return 49 Gardens of perpetual residence, whose doors will be opened to them. 50 wherein they shall recline, wherein they shall ask for abundant fruit and drinks, 51 ۞ And with them will be women limiting [their] glances and of equal age. 52 This it is that ye are promised for the Day of Reckoning. 53 Truly such will be Our Bounty (to you); it will never fail;- 54 This (for the virtuous); but for the transgressors the evil destination, 55 hell will they have to endure - and how vile a resting-place! 56 This, [then, for them] so let them taste it: burning despair and ice-cold darkness 57 And other [punishments] of its type [in various] kinds. 58 “Here is another group that was with you, falling along with you”; they will answer, “Do not give them plenty of open space; they surely have to enter the fire – let them also be confined!” 59 They will say: "In fact, it is you who will have no welcome. It is you who brought this upon us. What an evil place of rest!" 60 They say: Our Lord! Whoever did prepare this for us, oh, give him double portion of the Fire! 61 And they will say: "What is the matter with us that we see not men whom we used to count among the bad ones?" 62 “Did we mock at them or did our eyes turn away from them?” 63 Verily, that is the very truth, the mutual dispute of the people of the Fire! 64
