We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 And of everything We have created pairs, that you may remember (the Grace of Allah). 49 Therefor flee unto Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from him. 50 “And do not appoint other deities along with Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 51 Thus there did not come to those before them an apostle but they said: A magician or a mad man. 52 Have they charged each other with this? Nay! they are an inordinate people. 53 Turn away from them. You will not be blamed. 54 And remind (by preaching the Quran, O Muhammad SAW) for verily, the reminding profits the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me. 56 I seek no sustenance from them, nor do I want them to feed Me -- 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me. 59 Woe to the disbelievers when the day with which they have been threatened comes! 60
