The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its appointed tremor. 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
