Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
