The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the sky and the night comer - 1 What could let you know what the nightly comer is! 2 It is the star shining brightly. 3 No soul is there but hath over it a watcher. 4 So man must consider from what he has been created. 5 he has been created out of a seminal fluid 6 issuing from between the backbone and the breastbone: 7 God has all power to resurrect him. 8 The Day that (all) things secret will be tested, 9 So man will neither have any strength nor any aide. 10 By the sky which returns [rain] 11 And by oath of the earth which flourishes with it. 12 this is indeed a Decisive Word, 13 not a flippant jest. 14 As for them, they are but plotting a scheme, 15 And I am planning a scheme. 16 Let, then, the deniers of the truth have their will: let them have their will for a little while. 17
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Comet (Al-Taareq). Sent down in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
