The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
