The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Woe to every slanderer and backbiter 1 Who accumulated wealth and hoarded it, counting. 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever! 3 On the contrary! He shall be flung to the Crusher. 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 It is a Fire kindled by God. 6 which shall oversee the hearts, 7 Verily it will close in upon them, 8 In extended columns. 9
