So exhort (them, O Prophet), for by your Lord's Grace, you are neither a soothsayer nor a madman. 29 Or do they say: A poet, we wait for him the evil accidents of time. 30 Say thou: "Wait, [then,] hopefully; behold, I, too, shall hopefully wait with you!" 31 Do their minds prompt them to say such things, or are they a people immersed in transgression?” 32 Do they say: 'He has invented it' No, they do not believe. 33 So let them bring a discourse like it, if they are truthful 34 Or, were they created out of nothing? Or, were they their own creators? 35 Created they the heavens and the earth! Aye! they will not be convinced. 36 Or are with them the treasures of your Lord? Or are they the tyrants with the authority to do as they like? 37 Or have they a stairway [into the heaven] upon which they listen? Then let their listener produce a clear authority. 38 Or, has He daughters, and they sons? 39 Or do you (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) ask any fee from them, so they are burdened with the penalty? 40 Do they have knowledge of the unseen, thus, are able to predict (the future)? 41 Or, do they desire to outwit? The unbelievers are the outwitted. 42 Have they, then, any deity other than God? Utterly remote is God, in His limitless glory, from anything to which men may ascribe a share in His divinity! 43 (So obstinate are they that) even if they were to see some fragments of the sky falling down they would still say: “It is only a mass of cloud.” 44 So leave them alone until they encounter that Day of theirs when they shall be struck down, 45 A day in which their guile will naught avail them, nor will they be helped. 46 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment besides this: But most of them understand not. 47 So wait patiently for the Judgement of your Lord -- you are certainly under Our watchful eye. And glorify and celebrate the praises of your Lord when you rise up [from your sleep]. 48 And for part of the night also praise thou Him,- and at the retreat of the stars! 49
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
